Beginning the middle of April and ending the middle of June, our waters and industry become invaded by squid.  Atlantic Coast Seafood’s Atlantic Ocean ground fish-fishing vessels shift gears and head toward state waters south of Cape Cod to catch their share of these 8 legged power swimmers.

Atlantic Coast Seafood has been offloading and exporting squid for over 35 years. While much of our daily catch goes to our local markets and restaurants, there is an exceedingly high demand for New England caught Calamari in most of Europe, particularly Italy and France. This squid is packaged in styrofoam for overseas shipping.
